If I don’t start somewhere, it will never get done.
The first one is always the hardest one- the first cut of fabric when making a dress, the first line of crochet after the chain… This post is the rip the band-aid off and ramble a bit so I can actually begin. I have never done a blog before, nevermind one about my teaching practice. So here we go.
Who Am I?
A Middle School Math teacher in Tucson, AZ. I love Math, I love teaching, I love my kids.
Why Am I Writing This?
Honestly? I don’t exactly know. I know I have a lot of knowledge and some experience to offer to people. I know reflection is a large part of my practice and this may be a wonderful way to reflect. Maybe I’ll come up with a template for after each week of lessons to reflect systematically. Maybe writing will help my ADHD brain focus- maybe the routine will be too much and I’ll stop and start too many times to count over the years. I DO know I have a lot of innovative and transformative things coming up in my career and I need somewhere to document them. Don’t take me too seriously, but you’re welcome to join.
